With just under 100 years of regulation of naturopathic medicine in Ontario, we continue to struggle to define ourselves. Are we “Medically Trained and Naturally Focused”, functional, integrative, complementary or alternative? It’s time we face the hard questions and address the poverty, isolation and attrition in our beloved profession. What are we sacrificing on the altar of recognition and acceptance? This talk proposes we embark on a journey to rediscover our purpose, revitalize our practices, and shape a resilient future for naturopathic medicine in Ontario.
