Course Description:

A 3hr educational intensive on the most up-to-date research in naturopathic oncology, including IV, vitamin C, mistletoe, immune system support and others, presented by experienced clinicians in naturopathic oncology. Tools for emotional support, empowerment and holistic approach for the cancer patient will also be presented. The educational intensive if open to any level of experience in oncology care, including the novice practitioner, and ideas are presented to support oncology practice in primary care.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To provide a road map to the oncology patient in primary care
  2. To provide patients with the most up-to-date evidence in naturopathic oncology care
  3. To learn the most effective treatment options, based on research and clinical practice, for immune system support in oncologic care
  4. To learn and understand the challenges facing patients with cancer
  5. To learn what tools are available for the ND to help patients coping with cancer
  6. To learn the most up to date research on natural health products in oncologic care
