Course Description:

There has been substantial evidence to suggest that Post Covid-19 symptoms have similar clinical presentations to those of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). Research and clinical observations have also demonstrated a link between SIBO and ME/CFS. There has also been recent research linking Long COVID-19 with Gut Bacteria. In this presentation, we’ll attempt to connect the dots and provide alternative therapeutic solutions to these difficult to treat conditions.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understanding ME/CFS symptoms and their link to post-COVID-19 symptoms
2. Understanding the possible pathophysiology of ME/CFS and its link to COVID-19
3. Evidence linking Gut Health to these conditions
4. Understanding SIBO, diagnosis, and treatment regimens including the elemental diet uses
5. Review the intestinal barrier, sympathetic up regulation, SIBO, and their ultimate relation to the symptoms of ME/CFS and long COVID 19
