Course Description:

Have you felt frustrated by the results you have gotten in practice when treating hormonal dysfunction or immunological dysfunction? Do you feel like you understand, and can easily communicate, why the best success comes not from treating hormones or inflammation in a silo but instead treating both together as one? In this session I will identify the most critical errors I see when mentoring practitioners in their women’s health practices, and you will leave with an evidence-based lens on where hormones and inflammation interact and how to intersect this axis for improved clinical results.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the connection between hormones and inflammation
  2. An easily communicated framework for how the bodies hormone levels and fluctuations are pivotal to immunological health
  3. A clinically relevant understanding of what to assess for and how to treat different immunological imbalances at different phases of a woman’s reproductive life (ie menstrual phases, TTC, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause)
  4. Clear case examples of how dysfunctional immune responses present

This session is approved for 1.5 Category A General credits with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).  After completing the material, you will automatically receive your CE certificate.
