Dr. Joy Dertinger, ND is a Naturopathic Doctor with a mission to support people with mental health struggles and pain. She uses focused therapies to reduce overwhelm and inflammation so that her patients can face the day, engage in counselling, and live mindfully.
Having completed additional training in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM)'s residency program, she has treated thousands of patients and strives towards an expert level in general practice. She is passionate about educating NDs on evidence-based medicine and is currently conducting several research projects with the CCNM. She has studied under Dr. Jonathon Prousky,ND and currently receives mentorship from Dr. Chris Roberts, ND and Dr. Monique Aucoin, ND, all of whom are leaders in research, education and Naturopathic approaches to mental health.
She currently practices in Toronto Ontario at the Village Healing Clinic and as a supervisor at CCNM’s teaching clinic.
